Well... Pull down on the chain to this here travelin trolley whistle cause this party train has reached its final destination. But before i step off this beautiful n sometimes aimlessly wondering
Archipelago. A few hundred little white sandy beach islands on the southern end of Panama's Caribbean side. Sounds good right. Well i thought so. Well... After talking with some Bocas loak's i was alittle apprehensive about just showing up there cause there is pretty much nothing there. Ya.. Really.. Nothing there.. Ok, a few Kuna Indians some sand and Coconuts... But, for real it didnt take much but a few tugs of my rubber arm Dana talked me into just showing up.
We landed in El Poverner which as you can see is merely an air strip, motel and
a restaurant on a little island. It didnt take long to get to know the locals (all 3 of them) and the two drunkin sailors hanging out on the beach. At that point we put the word out that we were in search of a sail boat that was willing to putt around the islands or a few days. And walla!
Captain Peter set foot on land. Peter
has a 50+ foot catch sail boat.
The AWAB. He gave us an unbeatable deal (good thing right, cause it was the only deal).
The following morning we boarded the beauty. and with the wind in my hair and the sun scorching my back we were off. We had no water though (details right, although they may appear minor, they have a big impact on the end result). So... we first headed towards the main land. It hadnt rained for awhile so nobody had water. We found out that we could take the dingy up the river and collect water there. Ahh, Its the little adventures in life right. So, after a few trips up river we were able to quench the thirst of AWAB (by the way AWAB in captains eyes ment all women are beautiful, his 18 year old Italian girlfriend thinks it means all women are bitches. ill let you decide).
Even though Captain Peter is German he knows how to make a mean pasta from scratch. Dana and i cleaned the kitchen for the school time session. She did most of the work while i cracked the whip, drank wine and took pictures. Ahh, school time at its finest. I realized im not the hugest fan of pulpo (octopus) but it made a good pasta meal. I have realized though that chilled vino blanco on a hot day is very nice. especially over a warm beer...
O.K. moving right along... Dana and I meet these wonderful Kuna women who made us custom beaded ankle
wraps. It cost us a small amount of gringo greenbacks for what probably took them the better part of the night to produce. crazy huh! Whats even crazier is that they had just finished smoking a turtle and offered us up some tasty morsels. Wow!
Most of are days in San Blass were filled with chillin out. Most of the evenings were filled with chillin out too. Yea, we cooked, we swam, we drank, but other than that we chilled. I would only suggest going to San Blas if you are interested some chilllaxin time.
Thanks for checkin out my blog. This is Nick here, until the next big adventure comes along with full full Clout...Yea... Over-N-Out

The day that Hurst-y-Choy had to split to the pacific side... just so happened to be the same day that Collin, Dana and Cheri were in Bocas town ready to kickit Bastimento style. So, we stocked up on fruit, went out to the organic farm, got set strait with the finest organic veggies bocas has to offer, nabbed up a few cases of beer and pushed the boat off the stinky peer of bocas with a heading for paradice.
We have been having a Ab Fab time here. This is a photo of Miss Lily's beach. We spent an afternoon there enjoying memories and speaking of how much we love her, our friends, and families.
Dana and i are heading out tomarrow for San Blas. Should be interesting... hoping we can line up a sailboat for a few days. Then... back to the states to get back at it.
